Our Club Secretary is leaving us shortly having established strong procedures and the re-organisation of the office and tasks. We are therefore looking for a new secretary to continue this work who is both diligent and well organised.
The Club Secretary is a key member of the club staff and is expected to have integrity, honesty and be able to work using initiative and have a self-start approach. The successful candidate should have experience in working in a similar charity or business environment. Microsoft Office skills are required as well as familiarity with social media and other on-line systems. Experience in an account’s environment will be a significant advantage. The ability to communicate effectively with the club team, committee and external agencies is fundamental.
This is a part time position working 12 hours per week Monday to Friday in the club office with a requirement to work additional hours as necessary, including attendance at the evening held committee meetings once a month.
The rate of pay is £9.50 per hour. Statutory holiday/pension contributions apply.
The requirement is for a start on or before 1st June 2021.
